A Luxurious Vacation Retreat in the Sierra Nevadas!

Cabin 1 was completed in February of 2019. Amenities include a fully equipped kitchen, a washer & dryer, central A/C & heat, a gas fireplace, a fire pit, a grill, high-speed Internet, horse corrals, a RV hookup, three queen beds, and two foam sleeping mats. One bed is located in a private bedroom, one bed is located in a sofa sleeper located in the living room, and one bed and two sleeping mats are located in the loft. Note, the loft is open with ladder access and has a low ceiling more suitable for children than adults.

The property offers privacy, beautiful sunsets, hiking, a seasonal creek, and incredible rock formations to explore. We have seen many deer, turkeys, falcons, hawks, vultures, pigs, bobcats, raccoons, cougars and, of course, friendly cows grazing lazily.

The Hafkey Cabin Escape is family built, owned and operated. Scott Rich, a master builder, came out of retirement to build what is likely his final masterpiece. Other members of our family assisted along the way. Here are a few pictures depicting where the cabin location was chalked out and constructed from the ground up.
